Piano and Voice Lessons

Piano Lessons

*Private 30 minute or 1 hour lessons
*Beginners learn to play with curved fingers
*From the first lesson, students begin to learn the theory of music in connection of the songs they play
*The practice time is 10-15 minutes for beginners and then time increases to 40 minutes, or an hour, depending on the student’s level.
*Each student uses different books according to his/her age, level, and ability
*The calm and friendly atmosphere influences the students’ progress and creativity
*Students are able to choose their music pieces from their own preferences or from what the instructor offers to stimulate enjoyment in practicing and playing the music
*Advanced and intermediate students learn to understand classical, jazz, and/or modern music
*They work on sound, character, and technical perfection.
*Students use special books to enhance technical skills
*In the summer Broadway and Pop music is offered to develop students’ knowledge in music styles.
*During a school year, some students learn to play duets and are able to perform them during recitals.
*Practicing duets offers fun and enjoyment. They are very successful during recitals.

Voice Lessons

*Voice lessons are offered for ages 5 and up.
*Parents are often surprised with the excellent results of early singing lessons for the young child. They find it exciting and heart-warming to see the childlike wonder, the sheer joy of singing, and the poise and self-confidence displayed, even when singing before an audience.
*Parents compliment the children’s concentration, musicality, and the beauty of their young voices.
*Beautiful materials are available for all ages including popular songs for kids, Broadway, Pop, Classical, Religious, Jazz, etc
*At the beginning of each session, each student exercises with warm-ups to develop their voice and breathing.
*Students work with the high and low notes, vocal skills/rhythm, dynamics, tempo, articulation, etc
*This method helps to develop the student’s voice in various levels and ages.
